I am trying to finish my project but I am unable on the areas that are grey. I can only work on the white ones. Does anyone know how to make the grey areas white so I can finish soon? I already tried changing the shadows but I still cannot work on those areas. I am using the free version of Sketch on the web browser.

You can try redrawing over the wall lines. Are the wall lines grouped or just raw geometry?
Drawing over the lines worked! And to answer your question, all the walls were grouped but SketchUp wouldn’t let me edit them. Today is only my second day using Sketchup. Thank you for all your help!
In order to edit the geometr in the group you would need to open the group for editing. Double click on it with the Select tool or right click on it and choose Edit Group or select it and pressEnter.
The problem was that all the walls were in one group but I could only edit half of them.
