There are a couple of built in tools that you may or may not know about
Windows + shift + S and click the video camera button
There the built in video recorder as part of snipping tool
I have used the clipping tool, but I have Final Cut Pro on my Mac. Directly recording Windows actions on my Mac is convenient.
