Strange behaviour I found. Make an empty frame. Turn it into a Glue to any and Cut opening compo.
1-Insert it onto a plane = Sun goes through ok.
2- Insert it into an opening = Sun does not show on face of floor, but does on virtual ground.
3- Unglue it = back to normal.

I’ve seen this mentioned before and am trying to remember when and where, to see what has been said about it.
Same here. I have searched around for something like that, to no avail., so I posted.
I think it is the cutting plane.
Strangely the problem is only on one side. Assuming the shadow here is inside, it looks fine from outside even before ungluing.
