I am new to sketch up and am beginning to take classes. Though I am new to 3D modeling software, I am not new to Design software in general. I have been using Dynascape for 5 years.
I have been experiencing what I believe are glitches - in that a mouse command will work but then at times will completely stop working. If I open up a new model that same command will work. But there seems to be no rhyme or reason behind when it works and when it stops. Please help!
Did you install correctly by right clicking on the installer and choosing “run as administer”? If not do so.
I did this time. Why does that help/change things?
It has to do with SketUp needing some permissions from windows to read and write files.
If not installed correcly the way @RLGL told you, sometimes strange things can happen.
They are various and some people who don’t install correctly can use SketchUp for years without having troubles. I guess some people are more lucky than others…
