Ghost lines in my drawing

This is not really a problem, but I get curious when lines appear in the drawing that cannot be edited or deleted.
They are almost like ghost lines. Is there someone that can explain what happen here? Drawing enclosed.

I went to outliner and selected a component for editing. Then, I went to components and selected it. I placed it past the origin on the green axis and this is what showed up (screenshot). I don’t know why the ghost lines showed up. I tried erasing them, but they remain. This is wierd.

In Outliner I can select the existing “Rekkverkavstiver” components and it highlights all the ghost lines. I deleted those components and then inserted a brand new “Rekkverkavstiver” from the components tray.

This worked fine for me.

No idea why those lines were there though!

Thanks for the tip. I now see that I can reach them via outliner as you say and delete them there, but it is still a mystery why they cannot be selected directly in drawing editor

There is something strange going on with the transformation of those components - they have zero scaling for the x and y axes, which reduces them effectively to lines. Were you using the scale tool on them?

The real question that would help us solve your issue, is how did/where did “Rekkverkavstiver” come from? It is a messed up component that is located a huge distance from the origin.

As proof of my comment about the transformations being defective, here is a revised model in which I set all the transformations to an identity. This fixes the scaling but also piles all of them atop each other at the origin at the same orientation. You can move and/or rotate them to put them back where you originally had them.

Never used scaletools.
