# Geo-location not working - grabbed image won't insert into model

Macbook Pro 10.6.8 snow leopard, using Sketchup 8 (free version).

I go through the process to add a geo-location, but when I click ‘Grab’ nothing happens, the window hangs with no other buttons to press. It also doesn’t zoom in on a location when I search. I have reinstalled it, cleared Safari cache/cookies, but I can’t find any other solutions online. Help!

Trimble no longer supports SketchUp 8.

ps - ask someone on forums to grab a geo-location in the template you prefer, and share to 3dwarehouse, to get you by. But please upgrade if possible, and life will be better.

The solution is to ask someone to grab terrain that’s updated their software in the past 6 years. T\_\_\_\_\_\_T is good, but I’m not sure he can simultaneously fix Apple, Google and SketchUp while a simple action by the user would also fix the problem.
