Furniture Not showing once downloaded

Good day,
I am a teacher and one of my students is having trouble putting in furniture in his room. We do the exact same thing as other students, but once downloaded, the curser does not show it and it never appears. What are we missing?

thanks for that, I thought that we messed with it. Still no. Any idea if could be a popup blocker or something. We have also restarted and resigned in.

I am sorry if I deleted this? Waiting till I have this student later on to get image or video of it happening.

Better than a video, get the SketchUp file from them and share it so we can inspect it.

sounds great

I can’t see Box’s posts so he may have asked this but are you referring downloading from 3DW window inside of SketchUp and placing the model directly into SketchUp? Alternatively, you can advise your student to download the model to an external file. Open that file, inspect the furnishing piece to make sure it’s not super far from model origin, or contains stray geometry far from models origin. If it looks good, you should then be able to import that furnishing file from your drive. I’m can’t speak to if SU for Schools has limitations or restrictions on drive access…so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Here is the link from the student

You have to make the file accessible. I get an Access Denied message.

Thanks. I have the student today and we are looking at it. His room was only 43cm long.

So Box was basically right? The furniture is coming in but compared to the room it’s huge.

Thanks, everyone! I don’t use the program enough and he told me it was scaled correctly. I missed that.

Maybe he was designing a tiny house.

Zoolander: What is this? A center for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read… if they can’t even fit inside the building?
Mugatu: Derek, this is just a small…
Zoolander: I don’t wanna hear your excuses! The building has to be at least… three times bigger than this!
