Freehand tool making too many faces

I have recently upgraded to version 22.0.353.
When drawing with the Freehand Tool in this version I have noticed that it creates a lot more faces than the previous version of SKP (Version 21.1.298) that I was using.
Is there a way to edit the tool to control the amount of faces/segments the tool creates.
