when i start su i get the above message, have gone back to the orginal download and run as admin but am still getting message, any thoughts.

Show us a screen shot of the entire error message.
Frame modeler sounds like an extension. Try disabling it in the SketchUp Extension Manager then restart SketchUp and see if the message goes away. If it does, either that extension isn’t compatible with your version of SketchUp, you somehow got a bad copy, or perhaps there is a support library required as well (e.g. ThomThom and Fredo6 have such libraries).
