I began to get flickering view of my model when it’s zoomed-in since SU2024. It looked a lot like Z-fighting, but I’m certain that there are no multi-faces on them…
This became a problem whenever I tried to model some details.

How far is that group from the origin?
To avoid guessing, can you post the model?

Here’s the model
I’d say the main issue is your cad imports. They are probably referencing an origin on the other side of the world. You are seeing the flicker of a classic huge distance graphic issue. Which is why I asked how far from the origin.
Not to mention lots of hidden things at a significant distance from that which is visible. Just looking at the bounding boxes makes me wince.
I don’t have time now to go through and work out what is actually happening in your model, someone else may.
Getting rid of the cad components and moving things to the origin may fix your issues.
@Box is correct. The flickering is typical of having the model located at a great distance from the origin.
I deleted the huge hidden object and moved the rest of the model close to the origin. I also deleted some stray edges to further clean it up.
I purged unused content.
See how you get on with this file. The model shouldn’t flicker now.

Thank you — and @Box too!
Both pointed out issues I wasn’t fully aware of, and I can see how these are symptoms of a poor workflow on my part.
@DaveR feedback gave me a lot to think about moving forward.
Really appreciate you both taking the time to highlight these things. I’ve learnt something new!
