# Find area of a group

I’m using Sketch-Up version 17.2.2555 64 bit.  
I’m going to be building various things, a new barn & a small pond.

How do I find the area of a group, for instance the square foot area of sheathing for a floor group or the barn roof?

How do I find the area of the surface of the irregular shaped pond?
