I sometimes draw in my Mac and sometimes on a PC. I keep all the files on Dropbox. The SketchUp files saves in different ways and can’t always open in the other computer. Why is that?

SKB files are automatically created backup files from the PC and the ones with the ~ are Mac backup files. Normally you shouldn’t need to open either of them. If you do need to, rename the SKB files to skp or edit out the ~.

have you configured Windows and osx to always show file extensions…
the ones without may be seen as folders on the mac and possibly won’t open due to that…
