Faulty “E0” port on board

#1

I have a Flsun printer with an 8x8 bed and a single extruder. The “E0” port on the circuit board (which operates the extruder motor that pushes the filament into the hot end) has stopped working. It’s a mystery as to why. Is there a “work-around” to use the “E1” port beside it (which is meant for a second extruder motor and second hot end) to operate the sole extruder motor that I have? Note that the E1 port does not have the sixteen pin electronic component right below it. (My main board is a Makerbase MKS Gen_L V1.0)

Perhaps someone knows that hardware and can answer, though your question really has nothing to do with SketchUp and might get better responses on a 3D printing forum than here…
