Extrude image Face

I recently imported PDF and was tracing several hatched areas on the page. I then was able to pull the image face into 3d space. I’m not sure how I did it, but it was exactly what I needed. Any idea on how to recreate this.

Explode the image with the right click menu or make an explode shortcut. I use ; for my explode shortcut. You can’t push/pull an image unless it’s exploded.
