Hey there. I’ve been working in SketchUp 2024 (and 2023) on an expansion for our church building. The building is over 500’ long. I chose to start near the axis origin and work away from it as the model grew. I’ve had an issue of gaining extra faces as I close or divide a surface. The issue seems to be connected to the use of axis lock. I have now moved my model so that the axis origin is centered and I still have the same issues. Do I have a project that is just too large for SketchUp to handle without this and other issues arising. I have attached a video of me dividing a surface near the axis origin using axis lock without issue. I then move the geometry 400’ one direction and 800’ another and try to perform the same task and end up with multiple surfaces. If there’s something that can fix this glitch please let me know. Thanks!
I also included the model shown in the video if you’d like to try it out.
