I suppose it should be marked as solved but I don’t know what the solution really is. Maybe repairing the installation to be safe and then setting up and saving the toolbars location again. We still don’t know what happened to the .json file but we may never know.
Sounds good! That’s what I was thinking… don’t quite know what cause it but it’d be smart for people to make backups of their .json file (if the users external hard drive EHD does not create file history for app data - like me). Thanks again Dave!

Well… my extensions/plugins have dissapeared again. I thought I was prepared by having the backup of my .json file but I tried replacing the .json file within the “app data” folder and it did not revert to my preferences. Am i doing this correctly or did I misunderstand that the .json file could be replaced & reverted? When the origin of this issue arose I had to setup my plugins/tools/extensions to my preference again & I’d love it if I didn’t have to do that again (especially since I have a backup).
At the this point I would say it’s time to open a support ticket.
