I have to export a plan parallel view of a courtyard as a pdf to do line weights for it and every time I try exporting it Sketchup stops responding no matter what size I try exporting it as. At one point I understand my file was around 150 MB but I have been able to reduce it to 43 and it still will not export a pdf. I am super behind in class due to this and don’t know who to ask, please can anyone help?
Your file size makes me suspect that you have millions of faces and edges in your model. In that case the export can take long, even some hours.
Placing the model in LayOut might let you set your line weights there directly.
Without the model file you are just making us guess what could be wrong…
With that said @Anssi is probably right. Some people become expert guessers I guess…
