Unless there’s something else wrong with the PDF, the planner should know how to correctly measure the PDF with the software they use.
Thank you for checking.
Yes, all good with that one. I have an outside source who will provide me with thermal calcs for Building Control.
Appreciate the heads up.
So the scale in the exported PDF is correct afterall? Sounds like pilot error with PDF Exchange Editor?
Thankyou to all for your help on this.
Tracking back slightly your comment
notice a number of your viewports show that you’ve overridden the scene’s Camera properties. This is a good way to create more work for yourself.
Would you recommend setting up a individual scenes for each elevation, plan and section?
You’re welcome.
Yes. I would do that. It will reduce issues that can occur as you are working.
Thank you again.
At least yours output…mine just creates a pdf with 0kb in it
Thought this had been fixed in the 26.1 update but it’s just happened again ![]()
What did you think was fixed in the latest version?
Is your issue the same as OP’s?
No, I replied to his post in Nov saying that when I export it just creates a blank 0kb file.
When I installed the 26.1 update it “seemed” to bit fixed…until just now when it did it again.
So I have to open the file in SU2025 to export to PDF ![]()
I only ever export my Layout Files as PDFs and have never had any issues other than something related to the new graphics engine causing a crash.
Perhaps it’s that? Or something in your file that Layout doesn’t like? Can you export other Layout files to PDF ok or do they all create 0kb files?
Like cappo – I don’t have any issues with blank PDF exports from Layout.
But maybe create another post if we are going to continue to discuss your issue…
It’s intermittent, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t. All files (SU & LO) are created using the same templates.
