Export from Mac 2016 version to 32 bit

#1

I’m trying to share a design with a carpenter friend of mine.

Exporting from Sketch (v17) on my Mac creates a 62 bit file.

He says this doesn’t open and he needs a 32 bit file.

Any tips?

You can save the file as a lower version of SketchUp:
File>Save as and then select the version you friend has

There is no difference between files created with 32 and 64-bit versions of SketchUp. However, the latest (2017) version of SketchUp has no longer a 32-bit version so your carpenter friend must be using an older version. You can save your file to an older version via File menu>Save As by choosing an older version from the popup list. Save to the same version your friend is using or older.
