Excessive Texture Gizmo Size in SketchUp during Rotation

As shown in the attached image, when entering the “Texture > Position” mode to rotate or adjust a specific material, the gizmo (pins) becomes excessively large, often obstructing the entire viewport.

Troubleshooting steps already taken:

  • Tried ‘Reset Position’.

  • Adjusted material size/dimensions in the ‘Edit’ tab.

  • Verified that the model units are correctly set to mm.

Question: What causes the texture adjustment pins to scale so disproportionately to the model, and are there any specific solutions to bring the gizmo back to a usable size?

Can you share the model? It could be something with the scale of the model or the image used, but without opening the file, the beat anyone here can do is guess.

Of course. I am attaching the file in question.

Your model is stupid far from the origin. There’s no reason it should be nearly 5 Km from the origin. That just creates graphics issues.

With the model moved near the origin both the Scale handles and the texture pins look normal.

I see! Thank you for your answer dave. It worked out after I did as you said.
