Error message - vcruntime140.dll

I have downloaded SketchUp but when I try to open it I get this message

The program can’t start because vcruntime140.dll was not found on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix problems.

Any help would be appreciated…Thank You…

Your profile says that you’re using SketchUp Free. SketchUp Free runs in a browser window. Which version of SketchUp did you download?

2017…please post the steps I need to take to download in a browser window.

If you downloaded the SketchUp 2017 installer, there should be a SketchUpPro-2017-2-2555-90782-en-x64.exe file in your downloads folder. Right-clicking that file, and selecting Run as administrator will install the standalone SketchUp 2017 program (on Windows).

For the free, web-based version, you just need to point your browser to Trimble Identity

For the free web based version….I don’t see a menu or tool bar at the top with file, view, etc…….
