Error "failed to open document"

Hi! I’m having this problem where, when I try to open this SKP file I saved yesterday, the following error message appears: “failed to open document”. Could someone help me?

It’s missing a chunk of data at the end. Have you tried renaming the .skb file to .skp to see if it will open?

Where have you been saving the SketchUp file while working on it? Did you have a power failure at some point? Are you using a cr acked version of SketchUp 2022?

Yeah, the same error happens with the skb file.

I’m saving in a Google Drive folder on my work PC. No power failure. no crack.

Working on files saved directly to the cloud has been the cause of similar problems for many users. Best would be to download the file to your computer and work on it from there. After saving the file copy it to your Google Drive folder.
