Enscape not rendering correctly?

So I have a view in a model that I have rendered before with no issues and suddenly now, the curtains are not rendering correctly. See images below -Sketchup view showing green curtains. And then new Enscape rendering with curtains suddenly looking gray. What’s going on here?

I thought it was a memory issue so I closed everything on my computer and restarted and it is still happening. When I pasted the curtain into its own sketchup model, it renders fine. So I am assuming its a memory/file size issue with my model. I have purged the file, saved it. Do I need to run a more intense clean of the model?

Thank you in advance for any assistance/insight/fix

thanks for the fast response:

The arch paint has its normals inverted, everything must look white on monochrome.
The curtain texture is from the enscape library? Did you edited it on the enscape material editor?

Honestly, I worked on the curtain so long ago I don’t quite remember. I think it was an Enscape material that I colored and manipulated the scale of.

What does the arch being inverted tell you? That is a texture that I placed on a surface. But that renders fine in Enscape. It’s only the curtain that I am having an issue with.

The curtains have a transparency/opacity applied which automatically makes them glass.
Glass color is controlled only inside of Enscape as of a few version ago.

Also, if you curtains are inside of another group which has been painted with said material , then they could be inheriting the parent’s properties

Thank you for your response.

I will go into Enscape materials and see if I can change it there by looking for and altering glass settings. But, I guess I just don’t understand why a thing that I had rendered previously fine would suddenly go rouge. It’s also weird to me that I imported from the Sketchup Warehouse some “sheer curtains” and altered their color and it still doesn’t work for me.

Can you provide a little more clarity on what you mean by the second point? meaning, I have these curtain components, which are made of groups of curtains - but its only one material painted on them. So I don’t know how they could be picking up/inheriting another groups’ (?) properties?

Can you share the model?

On the monochrome screenshot you shared, the arch looks blue, that means that the normals are inverted. I guess you have more inverted faces on your model, if you share it we can check what problems you may have on your model.
