Eneroth Solid Tools Shell, doubling entites

Merging multiple components with the shell function I am getting a doubling of the components, and other unexpected behavior. I rarely use the shell function so perhaps I am misunderstanding it’s use.

The stock solid tools works as expected in this case but of course results in a group, and I prefer the @eneroth3 tools.

Since they are components, editing one edits all. If you make them unique first, this effect will disappear.

Duh, of course, its like it’s recursively editing itself. Perfect, thank you.

I’ve been thinking of silently making those objects that will be merged into other objects unique first, but what object is kept is arbitrary. If you had an additional box somewhere else in the model it is not determined in what direction it would start growing.
