Empty Bounding Box

Hello,

I have a floor plan in my model called Floor 3. I’m trying to bring in another floor plan called Floor 2.

I do not want to have both floor plans open at the same time. It’s too hard to read them properly. Whenever I close Floor 3, it automatically also closes Floor 2. What’s the solution?

Thank you.

You have a TAG: Floor 3 & short line that is turned off.

In your Floor 3, there’s, Floor 3 & short line#1.

In your Floor 2 DXF, you have Floor 3 & short line#1

If you click into these (double click to open them), you can see they all have the same tag: Floor 3 & short line.

REMOVE the Floor 3 & short line TAG from Floor 2 DXF.

That does not work for me. When I go into Outliner & remove the Floor 3 that is blue in the screenshot below, it erases Floor 2 from my model. Also, when I go into Tags and hide the Floor 3 tag, that also hides the Floor 2 tag at the same time.

Any other suggestions?

When you have that selected (Floor 2 DFX), look at ENTITY INFO. Change tag to UNTAGGED.

You may have to create a new TAG for Floor 2 that you could then put on the Floor 2 DFX.
