Embedding skp file into mapbox

Can someone please tell me the process of embedding 3d model skp file in mapbox with further details like those in the forwarded url?

SketchUp does not have a MapBox export feature, it is something you have to research on your own. Consult MapBox documentation, or ask in their forums.

You want to find out:

  • Is it possible at all? Does MapBox allow users to upload 3D models into their database, or provide a developer API to dynamically load 3D models into the map?
  • What formats do they support and what does the process look like on their side?
  • How to convert a file format that SketchUp can export into a file format that you need for MapBox?
