Edit Component and Make Unique is Gray for my components

This may be a general known contextual menu issue, and not to do with make unique in particular. Does the problem go away if you reopen SketchUp?

Right click menu stops working in Pro 2021

When I start working in Pro 2021, everything works fine. After awhile, some of the right click menu items gray out and can’t be used. The same main menu items also gray out. The only way to correct is to end that session and start a new session. Very frustrating.
