Hi all. I’m trying to “move” a tambour door in a small project, but I’m not able to build such a dynamic entity. I am woodworker and the real piece is almost ready to be finished, so it’s just for my curiosity. Did someone already try it?

Thanks Nino, it seems not working on my PC ….. though I can read the component Attribute window.
Either import the component into SketchUp or explode the top level component. Then it will work. If you make your own DCs, save them into a local collection and they you can drag them into your model from the Components panel.
This sort of thing would work well if your tambour is flat. If it’s not as in this piece, you’d need to make the DC differently.
Yes; Dynamic Components are IMPORTED onto your SKP Model file.
