Drawing a Roof Ridge

It is taking me too long to draw the roof ridge and I am sure there must be an easy way to do it.

Don’t know your individual circumstances, but is it necessary to go to this level of detail?
I use Vali Architects Roof plugin which makes quick work of this, even then it is only aesthetics.

I typically develop the level of detail only to the extent that it adds value to the project. Vali Architects offers its plug-ins through an annual subscription model, which is not my preferred approach for software tools and add-ons.

By the way, how did you make the ridges and valleys flat?
