I have imported a CAD file; “selected all” and made it a component. I want to trace on top of the component with the line tool BUT using a different color than the underlying CAD derived component color. For example: Make the CAD derived component all red and trace in black. Help anyone?
You can edit your style to set edge colour to “By Material” and paint the CAD component red.
That’s part of the situation. When the entire CAD derived file is set as a component, and I don’t enter “edit component”; the line tool is the same color as the underlying component. The result is can’t see what I have drawn.
