Hi @EnabledEdu, @j.hinckson and @elip95. thanks for the posts and sorry for the delay in my replies. With dimensions last week we are a bit behind but we are finally getting caught up again. I’ll do my best to address all of you in a single post so just look for your username for the part that matters most to your case.
First up is your post @EnabledEdu. If you are not using a firewall and are confidant that you deployed the app correctly I’ll have to bring it up with Tori_SU to see if she has any ideas. 502 errors are a bit outside my area of expertise.
As for you @j.hinckson, I just added you to the database so you are all set to go. Just make sure that you don’t miss any steps as you deploy the app as that will cause issues later on.
For your case @elip95, I was able to find your information and get you added to the database as well. You should be all set to go now. Just make sure thta you don’t skip any steps as you deploy the app as that will cause issues later on.
Finally for. future users that see this thread, please make sure to @ me and not Steve as he no longer has access to the database and does not monitor this thread. Also, please make sure to include not only your domain but a link to your school or district website if possible as that helps me to locate the info I need faster.
Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in getting back to all of you. I’ll do my best to address all of you in a single post so please look for your username for the part that matters the most to your unique case.
I’ll start things off with you @Mael. While I am happy to add you to the database of approved domains, I need to confirm that you are a k-12 school or equivalent. Can you confirm that you are? Just a honest answer in text form is all we need. Also if you can link us to your school or district website that would be nice, but it is not required.
As for you @cmcdonough, I was able to locate your site and add you to our database without issue as I was able to confirm you are a k-12 school via your website. You should be all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make sure you don’t miss any steps as that can cause issuse later on.
Finally, I’ll address you @EnabledEdu. I am pleased to hear that everything us up and running for you. I am not sure if it was a fix that we rolled out or if your IT team did something but I am not about to question a success. Hopefully everything continues to work and if you need any additional assistance please feel free to ask anytime.
For future readers of this thread, be sure to use the @ command in your post to make sure that I see your post as soon as possible.
I believe the following domain has already been whitelisted, but when signing into https://edu.sketchup.com/, I am stuck in the Are you in the right place? loop. Please could you check this?
Hi @recep and @IT.Support, thanks for the posts. I’ll address both of you in a single post so just look for your username for the part that is most important to you.
First up I’ll address you @recep. I am happy to add qualified domains to the database we maintain but I’ll need verification you are a k-12 school or equivalent before I can add you. All I need from you is an honest answer if you are a k-12 school or not. Can you let me know that? Also, while not required, a link to your school website or district website would be appreciated.
Next up is you @IT.Support. I am happy to add you to our database too but if you are using Microsoft you technically should not need to be added as it uses a different authentication process. If you can verify that you are a k-12 school I’ll add you anyways, but my best guess is that some setting is not activated somewhere. Regardless, let me know if you are a k-12 school and I’ll get you added if you are. Also, go ahead and run through the steps one more time to make sure that everything is working as intended.
Hi @christopherbass thanks for the post and thanks for using the @ command to get my attention. It might not seem like a lot but it helps me significantly. As you included all the info in your post I was able to get you added to the database a few minutes ago so you are all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.
Hopefully that is all you needed to get up and running but if you are still running into issues let me know and we can start troubleshooting.
Hi @jason.ramos and @hjalp, thanks for the posts. I’ll address both of you in a single post so just look for your username for the part that is relevant to you.
First up is you jason.ramos. As you were able to provide everything I needed in your initial post I was able to get you added a moment ago and by the time this post is live, the database should have updated so you will be all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make sure that you don’t miss any steps as that can cause issues later on.
As for you hjalp, I was able to locate your website but as I am relying on Google translate to get information from it, I am required to ask you if you are a higher education school or not. I am pretty sure I was able to locate the answer but the rules require me to be 100% sure so I have to ask you. Can you verify if you are higher education or not?
Thank you for the quick reply! The school is not a higher educational school. I believe the categorizing is a bit different here, but after graduating from this level, higher education schools are the next step. The students in question are 16 years old in the carpentry department.
Thanks for the fast reply and for using the @ to notify me @hjalp. As you defenitely qualify for access I will go ahead and get you entered into the database right now. By the time this post is live, you should be all set to deploy the app. Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on. Hopefully that is all we need to do to get you and your students up and running. If you are still seeing an error, let me know and we can start troubleshooting right away.
Hello, we are encountering issues with the SketchUp login process, even when using the administrator account.
Could you please whitelist myself and my school – teacher and student domain @icginostrada.it?
Thank you
