Does anyone know of a way to download a paid extension other than “Open this page in Sketchup” to activate the extension? My problem is I purchased and extension when I had an active 2025/2026 Pro license. As a hobbyist I need for now to get by with 2017 Make. The vendor doesn’t appear to provide an .RBZ file to download since installation has to be done from Sketchup and opening from there to the Warehouse. The only thing there on the Extension Warehouse where you would click download it says your purchase is ready to install, which is the road block.
Is there a solution or am I just ‘to bad, so sad’.
What extension it is? extensions buyed directly from the warehouse are either from trimble or developers that sell exclusively on the sketchup warehouse, other extensions are just listings so it will send you to their official website to buy the extensions, and other extensions are sold exclusively on the sketchucation store.
I’m afraid that’s it, the whole point of selling in the EW is that there are no rbz to manually install, and the licencing system is managed by the warehouse.
therefore, if you use an older version of sketchup, even if in theory it could be compatible, you can’t install it. and even if you could (by installing on SU26 then copying the install files to you SU17), the licencing system allowing you to use it is in the extension warehouse.
Now, some of Eneroth’s plugins are also on Sketchucation. Sketchucation has a different (independant) licencing system.
if it’s not available here, and you’re stuck with SU17, you’ll have to find another similar plugin I’m afraid.
