Do we need to be whitelisted?

Continuing the discussion from School whitelist Requests:

Hello! We are running into issues opening and starting the program and receive “are you in the right place?” message every time we try to launch the program.

Do we need to be whitelisted to get past this? We’ve done every other fix we could find to no avail. Please let us know
