There are too many problems with the 2024 1.
with a dual screen computer the menus do not always appear, and when we return to the single screen, they disappear completely, especially the menu extensions. some extensions have no menu.
it’s unusable. trimble should pay us for the time lost!
I’m furious and I won’t renew my license.
I return to 2022 pro but whose menu extension will disappear in 2025!!! at this level of ■■■■ is scam.
bye sketchup, you will disappear because the system is deteriorating
this is a known issue since the very first 2024 release, something to do with the framework, QT, and some very specific screens on specific PCs.
the licence allows you to use sketchup in a commercial manner. it doesn’t force you to use sketchup 2024.0.2
you can use 2023. or 2023.1 or even 2022. or 2021… up to 2019 (before that there were no subscriptions)
this is not Adobe, you’re free to pick here.
this means you won’t be able to use sketchup in a commercial manner in the future. only sketchup free for hobby projects.
you can return to 22 or 23.
besides, the menu will not disappear.
in-app access to the warehouses are working using chromium. like any website, the warehouses support a certain amount of versions of chromium. most websites will support about 2 years of versions, sketchup supports 3+ years.
after January of 2025, you’ll still be able to access the warehouses, both extension and 3d using your own browser. like everyone else.
yes. the 40 million users will leave.
I’m curious, you really created an account just to tell us you were leaving ?
You do know this is a user forum where we help each other. not a help desk where you ■■■■■.
