ive had plans sent to me, and the dimensions are very easy to read. the numbers look like it cancels out the background, creating a box around it. wondering if theres a feature for this, or if I need to manually add a box around each dimension?
You would need to provide more information but Fill can be enabled for dimension text.
What operating system? What graphics card? “0” is not an answer to those questions.
How would I enable fill?

Select the dimensions and in Shape Style turn on Fill. You can enable Fill for subsequent dimensions by getting the Dimensions tool and turning on Fill.
