I’m having difficulty saving template files on PC to any folder location other than the default location or the preset C:users… folder. In Layout Save as Template or File/New …does not see the folder I am trying to save in although it has been mapped in preferences. Any ideas?
Why do you want to save the template in a location other than ? LO looks for templates to open in its Templates folder. If you want to save the template elsewhere, just save it as a regular LayOut. A template is simply a .layout file, after all.
Thanks for the Reply DaveR.I would liket to save all template files, scrap book files, etc to an external hard drive rather than my local hard drive.Afater all, Isn’t that the point of the folders option in the preferences dialog box. It allows you to add additional paths but then doesn’t seem to recognize them.
