Did not deauthorize Sketchup on former computer, erased the hard drive instead

Before I got rid of a former computer that had Sketchup on it, I reformatted the hard drive. Now with the software loaded onto my new computer I can’t open the software on my desktop because it says I have it on too many computers.

How do you resolve this??

You need to contact Customer Support and ask them to free up the license.

Thanks…I found an “unauthorize all devices” switch in my account. After doing that and restarting the program in both my computers, it righted itself !!

Cheers

Ah, good. It wasn’t clear that you have a subscription license or I would have suggested that option. Please complete your profile with SketchUp version and license type.

Thank you, I have been trying to figure this out for a day. Trimble needs to make this much more obvious and I couldn’t even find online documentation from them, just circular statements that told me I had to deauthorize the old devices even though they are long gone.
