Deleting Dimensions

Sketchup has a menu item that allows one to delete all guides in one fell swoop. Does a similar function exist for dimensions?

I find that I use dimension to check on a particular element and forget to delete them. They become clutter. It would be a useful feature if I could delete them just as I delete the clutter caused by guides.

TIA

Not directly but with the desktop version you can select all of the dimensions in the current context from Model Info>Dimensions, then change the focus to the main window (click on the title bar at the top) and press Delete.

Christina Eneroth @eneroth3 has a free extension in the Extension Warehouse that does exactly this - Eneroth Dimension Remover. It adds an extra item to the Edit Menu called “Delete Dimensions”.

It deletes all dimensions in the model - whatever component or group they are in.

Note that the Extension Warehouse indicates that Eneroth Dimension Remover is only compatible with SketchUp 2020 and newer. It may work in the older Make version your profile says you are using. It may not.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll experiment with the Model Info > Dimensions approach.
