Deleting a color swatch from favorite

Hi,
is it possible to delete a color swatch from the color inspector favorites (on the Bottom) in Layout?

drag any of the empty ones on top of the color you want to delete…

EDIT: something has changed, drag mercury from the pencil colors, and it looks like it works…

Thank you for your help. I’ve tried to cover the color with an empty one and did not change but I then use your suggestion to cover it with the white swatch and it worked. Thanks again for taking the time to help

here’s a great resource for the apple color picker
it’s getting old but most of it still holds true…

In 2018 it seems like dragging a swatch to the mac trash can works, fwiw.

I stopped using them when they all started being name Material, Material#1, etc…
