This morning when I opened up my PC sketchup was in a delayed response. starting from nothing in the base template, it would take 10 seconds for the drawing tool to register a location and allow me to click etc.
There are a number of threads on this topic already. There was an automatic update pushed to Windows by Microsoft which balled up the works. See:
