You’re using a component with the hole-cutting property set but it will only cut one face. It cannot cut the edge of the panel.

BTW, I notice that due to your choice of very coarse Display Precision, you have what look like strange dimensions. Do you really intend these sorts of dimension in your model?

Thank you for your reply No this is only a sample .Have you any suggestion how can i cut the edge?

Draw the rectangle. Push pull.

Or you can make the two objects solid and use the solid tools trim.

What is your end goal for this? Maybe if we knew what you were trying to do we could offer suggestions.

Components that cut can only cut 1 face. It is a limitation of SketchUp.

Hi what I want to do is

in a side panel of a cabinet box to make a ‘ L Groove ‘ and put a crossbar now from Hidden attributes

i want when is true to show the ‘L Groove ‘ and crossbar and when is false to hide them Look the img Regards

Imagine making it in real life for a stop motion video.

You need 4 separate groups or components.

The main part of the side board, up until the rabbet starts.

The part of the sideboard that is left after cutting out the rabbet.

The cross bar.

The part of the sideboard that is the full shape when the rabbet is not cut.

Each of these are simple rectangular shapes. You may need to hide edges where the touch each other.

Then you build the hide / unhide state with these parts.

Is there any plugin for this operation?

You can make dynamic components. I don’t know of any plugin to do this.

You could also just assign things to Tags and turn things on and off.
