Has anyone encoutered this problem before?
After exporting a 2D graphic to jpeg, I come back to this type of behavior.
All my leader texts and dimensions are bugged.
I have tried a clean install and made sure my graphic engine is set to classic, as instructed by the tech support but the problem persists… This issue is greatly hindering my workflow since I need to restart sketchup every time.
Thanks!
Haven’t had this issue, but it’s hard to tell exactly what is the problem without being able to inspect the model. If possible share the model here so people can inspect it?
Sure! Any model will do really…
Here is that specific one.
Thanks!

Which graphics engine are you using? Look in Settings (under the SketchUp menu left of File) and then Graphics. If it’s not the Classic graphics engine, switch to that, quit SketchUp and restart so the change takes effect. Any change in behavior?
It has happened to me before, speccially when i make screenshots or use the screen capture in powerpoint etc, sometimes i just save the file or close and re open. cant find a pattern to figure it out yet…
Already setup with the classic graphics engine… thanks though!
Tech support has suggested I move back to the 2023 version, which I have done.
So far the cursor issue hasn’t come up.
I’ll post back if it ever rears up again.
Thanks for your input everyone!
I expect it’s a case of your graphics card not being compatible with the requirements of SketchUp 2024.
I had updated to 2024 long before this started happening…
So it isn’t a SketchUp 2024 thing. What changed on your computer right before it started happening? Graphics driver update, perhaps?
I wish I knew!! If there was an update with the driver, it wasn’t done with my being aware of it.
Granted my mac is getting old and is becoming grumpy with age.
Anyway, going back to 2023 seems to have solved the issue for the moment so I’m good.
Thanks!
Best and most logical sketchup sollution as always!
Use v24 for this, go back to v23 for that, maybe back to v22 in case of, do keep v17 at hand, don’t delete v6 yet, and soon v25 to make modelling easier.
So make sure you have “all” versions installed, just in case, haha!
Good thing you only need to login once … “per version”
