I’ve been a user since 2003. Ever since I can remember, I’ve customized my keyboard shortcuts, and have been able to custom set Ctrl+Q. Just upgraded to 2026 and now suddenly I cannot custom set that particular key. Its default is “quit” - and that is a huge problem when I’m used to using it for something else. Why was the customization taken away? I need it back. 20 years of using a particular key does not get relearned easily.

Bumping it to a technical problem as it’s own thread instead of piggy-backing on someone else’s question. More posts raised to a common problem brings more attention to it.
