Hi, I see this has been a problem for many before, and it’s plagued us for years… Has anyone fixed the issue where the first time a componnet is created in SU (2016 in my case), the program will freeze for a VERY long time. I have seen a lot of old discussion, but no definitive solution. I have a workaround that involves making a dummy file and componnet first and then opening the file I want to use, but surely someone here has sorted this out properly! And if not, does anyone have this problem still occuring in SU2018? I’d update if I was certain it would be fixed.
I use Windows 8, SU2016. I have 16mb ram, and a Firepro AMD graphics card. Thanks! David W
