Copy paste function

My apologies if this has been covered already. I’ve found a few copy/paste requests but apparently, none that suggest this particular detail.

It would be useful if when copying and pasting the following would happen:

Click and copy the item.
Click where you would like the new copy to appear. Hit paste and it appears where requested.
(if you don’t click, the paste works as ‘paste in place’)

If there is already a way to achieve this, and I have overlooked it, please let me know!

Currently there is only a paste in place option in LayOut. You can paste to a different layer if you want but it’s still in the same location on the sheet.

I concur. I would find such a pasting feature also useful.
