I have seen on this forum requests going back to 2014 for Sketchup to add the most basic PC function. Copy/Paste a measurement to the clipboard (Ctrl C/Ctrl/V). Why is such a simple and basic function that works in every other design software not available? I was hoping 2026 would have it, but nope. If someone knows of an extension that will do it, please let me know.

I don’t get it, what do you mean by measurement? Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V work like they should on sketchup.
Yes, you can copy and paste everything except when you measure the length of something. You get the dimension displayed, but can’t highlight it and copy it. It’s helpful if you plan to use the measurement in a calculation or in an extension that requires the measurement.
