Coordinates System used by Sketchup Pro

Hi  Anyone here knows if Sketchup uses the Universal Transverse Mercator ( UTM) in units of meters , and in conformance with the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83)?
Or what coordinates system is used by the Geo-Locate feature?

Thanks!

There is a name for the type of projection that SketchUp add location tiles use, but Iโ€™m forgetting the right term at the moment. Itโ€™s one where the distance you would measure on the flat image matches the real distance on the surface of the Earth.

But, itโ€™s not UTM, itโ€™s basically grid north, like you might get in a road atlas. There are ways to calculate true north from the UTM longitude lines and your latitude and longitude. There is an extension called Solar North that you can use to point at which direction north really is.
