Would be great to have the component referenced to a databese/ library,
same as in Layout: you can update the components.
E.g. we have a lot of template SPK files, combining same components.
When in future components may chang, I have to change them in every drawing manually.
And I don’t have a control if my component in the SKP is the latest, or if there is an update…
But more complicated will it be if you have dynamic components. Updating these may
keep the attributes of the saved component…

You can make your own component library and use the components panel instead of making templates filled with components..
That way you only update once after a modification..
The point is, we have 10 3D-Models, everyone with left or right orientation, makes 20 drawings as templates. So your solution would mean to build every model from scratch that would take too much time…to be able to identify the components in my model that are out of date would already be a great step forward…
something like a reference manager then ?
