Colours bleed beyond the stipes

Hello,

I’m having various unusual troubles today. The stripes in the image are supposed to be brown in the middle bound by 2 black stripes. I’ve made those successfully dozens of times.

Can anyone tell me how I can get those 2 outside stripes black? When I paint one of them black, all 3 go black.

The main frame surface and lines are not flat against the wall.

I noticed that the lines you created are outside the plane, so when you apply color to the plane, it fills everything. Also, I see that the model you’re building is skewed and not straight.
