For me when I try to share a model to a client either as View Scenes or View Model with Presentation mode enabled – clients cannot view scenes.
Clicking on these buttons does nothing except the full screen one
Good afternoon @PaulMcAlenan, I work with the collaboration team and am sorry to hear you’re running into this issue. Can you tell from which SketchUp client you are sharing models (Desktop, Web, iPad)? Additionally, would you mind sharing a model with me so I can give it a test?

I run the latest 2026 release and I share from the desktop program by saving the model to Trimble Connect.
I click share and set the permission to anyone with the link can View Scenes.
I copy the link and if I post it into an incognito window I can do nothing at all with the model – I cannot view the scenes.
That hover navigation does nothing.
I can’t test this and I certainly can’t share models with my clients if this does not work.
What is the intended functionality of this?
My expectation is that users should be able to orbit as well as view the scenes.
Currently the only way to get clients to see scenes and orbit the model is to share as View Model.
But I would say that this is too much for most clients – they don’t need Entity Info, Tags, Display or Model Info.

If you want clients to be able to orbit, you need to set the permissions to view entire model - selecting View Scenes will have a more curated view of your model and NOT be able to orbit.

The main issue is that navigation in presentation mode is broken whenever I visit a share link.
Regarding orbiting – I think that this should be available to users (my clients) without the added complexity and confusion of the extra menu items in the side menu.
Clients are not going to be interested in tags for example.
